After meeting at university in 1990, Justin Shanley and Nick Caple worked together for many years across a wide array of property and business activities. Over the journey, both Justin and Nick have achieved at a high level in their own right, specifically in the fields of property valuation, finance and property development. The formation of Tandem Property Group was the natural progression of this collaboration.

Drawing on years of experience in the industry, Tandem Property Group utilises market leading property knowledge to identify, assess, engage and deliver outstanding development outcomes.

Justin Shanley

Prior to establishing Tandem, Justin held senior valuer roles with global real estate firm CBRE and is a highly regarded specialist valuer with a focus on Melbourne’s most prestigious inner markets. Throughout his professional career, Justin has simultaneously been an active developer with a speciality in high end housing and townhouse developments, boutique apartment development, refurbished apartment development and land subdivision.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) from RMIT and is an Associate Member of the Australian Property Institute. He has an extensive 25 years experience involving all aspects of development including feasibility analysis and site selection, planning considerations, financing strategies, project management, sales and marketing strategies.

Nick Caple

Nick’s passion for property saw him commence his career as a valuer before moving into property finance and launching the successful Choice Capital in 2000. Choice Capital is a finance brokerage business specialising in the procurement of funds for a range of developer clients including obtaining funding for high density residential developments, commercial mixed use developments and smaller boutique style developments. The company has grown extensively since inception to also provide home loan, commercial brokerage and financial planning services.

Not one to pass up opportunities, Nick has also been an active developer of luxury houses and townhouses, mixed use commercial developments, boutique apartment development and coastal projects.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Business (Property) from RMIT and is member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia.
